Cost:
The tournament fee is $550 per team - maximum 16 players/team.
Each team to submit a registration form and each player is required to complete and sign a waiver form (this can be submitted before the first game).
The registration application and appropriate team fees are due by
March 2, 2007.
Registration limited to the first teams that submit a registration form with team fee.

Tournament Information:

11-a-side format. Games will begin at 8:00 am each day. The tournament will wrap up around 4:00 pm Sunday. FIH 2007-2008 hockey rules will apply. Games will consist of 2-25 minute halves with a 5 minute half time and 5 minutes between games.

All teams will be guaranteed at least 4 games over the two days. Teams will be registered on a first come first serve basis. The tournament will be a round robin or divisional format, depending on the number of registered teams. The top team in each division will be presented with an award for each player.

Umpires:
Each adult team should provide at least one official to umpire matches during the tournament. Level 1 (Local) Umpires will be paid $10 per game with Level 2/3 (Sectional/National) rated Umpires getting $15 per game.

Divisions:
Mixed (up to 8 teams)
Men (minimum of 4 teams)
Women (minimum of 4 teams)
High School Open (up to 8 teams
If the minimum number of teams in the Men's and Women's divisions are not met, the tournament organizers reserve the right to cancel these divisions. You may reform your teams into mixed teams and compete in that division if space is still available.

PLUS elementary/youth clinic each day for 8th grade and under

Saturday night banquet:
On Saturday, March 24th, there will be a banquet dinner for all teams participating in the tournament. The cost for this dinner is included in the player fee. Additional dinners may be purchased for non-player guests. Banquet information will be provided after registration is received.

Driving directions:
Exit Denver International Airport on Pena Boulevard. Merge from Pena Boulevard onto I-70 West. Exit to I-225 South and follow I-225 to its end at I-25. Stay left and merge onto I-25 South. From I-25 South take the Arapahoe Road Exit 197 and turn right. At the 2nd light turn right on Greenwood Plaza Boulevard. Hotel will be up one block on the left, corner of E Peakview and Greenwood Plaza. It is approximately 30 miles from the airport to the hotel.

General Information:
March is a great time to be in Colorado…there is skiing close by, so plan on making this more than just a hockey tournament. The chance of snow at the fields is small, but may happen. Games will be played unless the temperature drops below 35 degrees F, or if snow is on the field and can't be cleared. When the sun is shining, you will need your sunscreen!
Restrooms are available right next to the fields.
There is ample parking adjacent to the fields.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be received in writing by March 9, 2007 to receive a refund of the team fee, less $50 for administrative costs. No refunds will be made after March 9, 2007.
